We are an Ecuadorian/Swedish couple and together we started Sweet Surf 2006. In our office in the centre of Montañita we buy and sell surf boards, rent surf boards, give surf classes and organize surf tours. Why Montañita? Montañita has the most frequent waves in Ecuador and has a beach break and a point break. The beach break is long and has sand bottom. It is a great place for both beginners and experienced surfers. The point break is a reef break with a great long (sometimes huge) right wave. Montañita is also a great place to enjoy the beach and nature, nice hotels and restaurants and, of course, fiesta! It is also close to many other points and beach breaks to surf.
